The Center for Literacy & Learning

The Center for Literacy & Learning is a Louisiana-based nonprofit organization that advances literacy and learning through evidence-based practices in the classroom, home and community. Founded in 1992 as the Center for Development and Learning, or CDL, the organization specializes in the development and dissemination of leading-edge scientific research, knowledge, and best practices that focuses on closing the achievement gap by increasing teacher effectiveness.
