yeah!! me too, right now death note is my fav anime! its so amazing!! i love the story, very deep i think... and yes, L is one of my fav characters but now, that misaki appears... i have to tell you that he is one of my fav characters too.. he is so DAMN SEXY!! lol
i havent read the manga yet, cauze i dont wanna spoil the anime... so, when the anime ends i´m surely gonna check out the manga =D
