There is an ocean of oil beneath the midwest. It extends from southern south dakota all the way down to northern texas. On the east into missouri and on the west into colorado. Estimates are enough to last, at our present rate of consimption, for about 108 years. Couple this with a couple of recent finds and I have to ask why we feel the need to drill anywhere.
