I never knew it at the time, but the 8th of feb 1980 would be the first time of many that I would witness the mighty Toyah. It was a really sweaty gig with punks and rockers fighting and gobbing (yes at you) and fighting just because it was the done thing.
Look at us now ! Do we regret it ? Noooooo. Would we do it again ? Of course. Toyah ! Toyah Toyah !

Toyah has and always be true and amazing, a living godess!! i have loved her ever since her 1st totp appearance, when i was 11yrs old. she still leaves me completely breathless, even now at the age of 38. i actually spoke 2toyah on the phone last yr when my ex wife met her. my ex phoned and toyah got the phone off me and chatted for a while, what a true star! it left me in tears, how embarrasing!! hehe. long rein Toyah, and keep on the totally amazing work. big hugs 2all you toyah fans XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I love Toyahs new track, Lesser god. The album should be great!
I met Toyah earlier this year at an autograph signing in manchester G-Mex. Toyah talks to all her fans and is genuinly interested and Takes the time to listen to you. I was nervous at 1st but Toyah soon makes you feel at ease. Toyah really is a Nice, genuine person. If Toyah were a freind of mine I know she would be a lifelong friend. Both days at the Collectormania signing we talked with her about not just what Toyah was doing but everyday things just like you would do a friend. My wife made a Amythest and quartz necklace which she gave to her the 2nd day we went and Toyah loved it. Keep up the good work Toyah, Can't wait for the album :O)

Completely agree, Toyah and Simon Darlow make a great songwriting team. Lesser God is yet another excellent song. Love it!

Toyah and Darlow, always a great combination, and now the very talented Dean Stocking doing the visual thing with Toyah. Just great, Ive been a Toyah fan for decades now. Lesser God!!!! keep em coming Toyah!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got into Toyah when I was around 12 or 13 when I discovered her in my Uncle's record collection.
I'm 23 now and I still adore her talent, hairstyles and clothing choices heh.

There are many reasons why I think Toyah is wonderful, and here's just one of them: I trust her. When she explains what a certain song means to her, I believe her. When she experiments with different styles of music or presentation, I know that it's for artistic reasons. If she finds spiritual significance in something, I know she's sincere. With Toyah, I don't see manipulation, deception, hidden agendas or arrogance. To be talented, creative, successful, brave AND honest, is incredibly rare!
