I used to ride my holstein dairy cow Black Spot [I have videos on my youtube profile (seagirlkat) - one has a picture of Dad riding her.] She wouldn't ever buck, but she walked pretty fast and took me to a tree with low branches and knocked me off. I didn't have a harness or saddle, though. She didn't even look back to see what happened to me. I landed on my butt and was okay. After that, I was a little leery of riding her. She had never tried knocking me off before, but I had never put my feet in her sides before. I just wanted her to move, but all she wanted to do was eat.
