Stella 66 are a fantastic, fast emerging UK band led by their stunning, guitar playing singer Emily Barden. Based in Liverpool one of the worlds most renowned musical meccas, the band has an international lineup with Ryan Forrest (Scotland) on drums, JJ Rio (Canada) on bass and Petter Dahlgren (Norway) on guitar. Having all graduated from The Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts, with it's famous lead patron, Sir Paul McCartney the band was then formed by Emily and Ryan and started out life as an acoustic trio. The bands sound has developed over the years and with influences from Carol King to KT Tunstall, The Band to Sheryl Crow are now turning out their own brand of 'country tinged acoustic pop' with some sensational recordings.

In October 2007, having succsessfully toured Norway that summer, Stella 66 decided to risk everything they had. They sold their belongings and packed in jobs to fund a make or break tour of Canada, one of the places they felt would be more suited to their music. Their gamble paid off. The reaction to the bands music and intensely passionate live show was stunning and as the tour gathered momentum the word spread that Stella 66 were one band to watch for the future. The entire adventure was captured on camera and is being made into a film. The band are due to shoot two music videos with an Emmy award winning Canadian producer for the singles 'Smile' and 'Standing in The Sun' and are looking to release their first album later this year. They are also in talks to return to Canada for a second tour as well as embarking on their first tour of America.
