You guys play alot like Ron and Heather, the people I play with from Midland. They call themselves Heart to Heart Bluegrass and they are teaching me bluegrass, which I find hard and fun to play. I love listening to you, thanks for great traditional bluegrass, I watch your videos alot.

The New Essex Bluegrass Band video was shot with a single HD camera. The boys performed the song about 5 times and give 'em credit to the exact same tempo! I selected a master track (video and sound) and cut into that using the remaining 4 takes all shot from different angles. There was one I couild not use because of sun hitting a spec of dirt on the lense. This was the second vid I shot of the boys. They are absolutely fantastic live and the manolin player, Tewrry is one of the finest in the country.
I would love to come and do a vid of you guys. A tip for you. Avoid naked lightbulbs unless you can 'fill in' with reflected light. Try and shoot outdoors, be very aware of your background and your composition. It all adds up y'know. All the best and I will se you on the other side of the pond! Chris (eaurouge1) |

WOW!!!
I just got my CD in the mail today and listened to it ... You all did a fantastic job! We're totally blown away! I've been listening to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Will The Circle Be Unbroken, Vol.2 CD in my truck forever now and it's almost worn out. Time to retire that and your CD is going in now!
