	themistoklisp \| July 18, 2008 Jesus NEVER commanded us to keep any specific day Holy. God in the OT commanded us to keep the Sabbath. The Sabbath as Jesus said pointed to rest we find in Him. Actually Jesus said the opposite to what you wrote, "And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work." (John 5:16-17). Keeping the Sabbath is denying Jesus. You see the Sabbath was a symbol of our rest in Him, if after having Him we continue to observe the symbol in essence we are denying Him. Repent of your false teachings!
