The news is just in, They revamped the ruling. Your voice was heard.
Tuesday, US District Court Judge Louis Stanton signed off on an agreement by all parties in the lawsuit to allow Google to remove the names and identifying computer numbers of YouTube users from information it will provide Viacom, according to court documents.
According to the agreement filed in New York federal court, the "defendants shall substitute values while preserving uniqueness for entries in the following fields: User ID, IP (Internet protocol) address and visitor ID."
YouTube is to assign each user a unique number so that individual viewing patterns can be determined without necessarily being able to figure out who viewers are.
As they say, we have won the battle, but not the war. Keep up the support for our privacy.

I will need all the help I can get with this next video to show the average youtuber what this all means. I wanted to keep people posted on the situation and believe it is a lot worse then people think. I have had some help go over all that is going on with this and have been evaluating what this really means and how it can effect you.
We need to keep this momentum going, because they are hoping people will just lose interest and move on, but this is not the time to stop. We need to keep contacting the judges office even more and we also need to have google / youtube appeal this horrible decision. Here is the Judges info:

Here is more information you may want to read:
As an interesting aside, CBS announced that YouTube has not harmed them at all and has actually increased their viewership making this lawsuit even more outrageous. "Analysts have long been saying that YouTube is a gift for the TV networks: now we have the stats to prove it. CBS announced today that viewers are flocking to their TV shows after seeing the clips on YouTube. "Letterman" has gained 5 percent (or 200,000 new viewers), while "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" is up 7 percent (or 100,000 viewers) since the CBS YouTube channel debuted a month ago. They've uploaded 300 clips so far, which have averaged 857,000 views per day in total - that's 29.2 million views on YouTube this month. It's also worth noting that YouTube takes that content to millions of viewers outside of the US who can't access CBS normally - if we could measure the channel's global influence and recognition, I'm sure that will have increased dramatically. CBS has three of the top 25 Most Viewed videos this month, and they have 9 of the Most Viewed videos today (let's hope they're not gaming YouTube!). What's more, they've got nearly 22,000 subscribers." In an Adage article, CBS CEO David Poltrack state: "When you have something the public really wants, the economic value in that is to come up with a way to satisfy the rights holders and serve the consumers." That's a lesson that some media companies have been slow to learn." He also said " YouTube has yet to do anything to adversely affect his network's programming."
Almost everyone knows the story of David VS Goliath, yes in the original story David Beats Goliath. I am at least glad people know the story. As I have posted a couple of times in the comments section, "even though in the original story, David Does beat goliath, I would rather be Goliath in the courtroom any day of the week." In the courtroom Goliath almost always wins.

Viacom vs you. Google must divulge the viewing habits of every user who has ever watched any video on YouTube, a US court has ruled.
The ruling comes as part of Google's legal battle with Viacom over allegations of copyright infringement.
Digital rights group the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) called the ruling a "set-back to privacy rights".
The viewing log, which will be handed to Viacom, contains the log-in ID of users, the computer IP address (online identifier) and video clip details.
While the legal battle between the two firms is being contested in the US, it is thought the ruling will apply to YouTube users and their viewing habits everywhere.
Viacom, which owns MTV and Paramount Pictures, has alleged that YouTube is guilty of massive copyright infringement.
The UK's Premier League association is also seeking class action status with Viacom on the issue, alleging YouTube, which was bought by Google in 2006, has been used to watch football highlights.
Legal action
When it initiated legal action in March 2007 Viacom said it had identified about 160,000 unauthorised clips of its programmes on the website, which had been viewed more than 1.5 billion times.
Following the launch of its billion-dollar lawsuit, YouTube introduced filtering tools in an effort to prevent copyright materials from appearing on the site.
The US court declined Viacom's request that Google be forced to hand over the source code of YouTube, saying it was a "trade secret" that should not be disclosed.
But it said privacy concerns expressed by Google about handing over the log were "speculative".
Google's senior litigation counsel Catherine Lacavera said in a statement: "We are disappointed the court granted Viacom's over-reaching demand for viewing history.
"We will ask Viacom to respect users' privacy and allow us to anonymise the logs before producing them under the court's order."
The ruling will see the viewing habits of millions of YouTube users given to Viacom, totalling more than 12 terabytes of data.
Viacom said it wanted the data to "compare the attractiveness of allegedly infringing video with that of non-infringing videos."
YouTube and Google had "compelled" it to go to court, Viacom said, "by continuing to defend their illegal and irresponsible conduct and profiting from copyright infringement, when they could be implementing the safe and legal user generated content experience they promise".
It said it would not be asking for any "personally identifiable information" of any user.
"Any information that we or our outside advisors obtain will be used exclusively for the purpose of proving our case against You Tube and Google (and) will be handled subject to a court protective order and in a highly confidential manner."
'Erroneous ruling'
Leading privacy expert Simon Davies told BBC News that the privacy of millions of YouTube users was threatened.
He said: "The chickens have come home to roost for Google.
"Their arrogance and refusal to listen to friendly advice has resulted in the privacy of tens of millions being placed under threat."
Mr Davies said privacy campaigners had warned Google for years that IP addresses were personally identifiable information.
Google pledged last year to anonymise IP addresses for search information but it has said nothing about YouTube data.
Mr Davies said: "Governments and organisations are realising that companies like Google have a warehouse full of data. And while that data is stored it is under threat of being used and putting privacy in danger."
The EFF said: "The Court's erroneous ruling is a set-back to privacy rights, and will allow Viacom to see what you are watching on YouTube.
"We urge Viacom to back off this overbroad request and Google to take all steps necessary to challenge this order and protect the rights of its users."
The body said the ruling was also potentially unlawful because the log data did contain personally identifiable data.
The court also ruled that Google disclose to Viacom the details of all videos that have been removed from the site for any reason.

I know I used this song before but when I saw the part in the movie when Scott is being "haunted" by Jean at the edge of the lake this song popped into my mind.
The first verse and chorus is in Scott's POV and the second is in Logan's.

http://www.myspace.com/project_gta This is a collection of the funniest moments from the show "Boy Meets World". I grew up watching this show and I felt like composing all of its funniest moments together in a video for myself and other fans of the show. The majority of these scenes were taken from seasons six and seven, because there were so many great Eric moments in those seasons. Eric is definitely the funniest character of the show and you'll see him and his antics the most throughout this video. So here it is, The Ultimate "Boy Meets World" Funny Moments Collection. Enjoy!
Here's a summary of the series: One of the most durable offerings of ABC's Friday night TGIF sitcom lineup, Boy Meets World premiered September 24, 1993. Set in Philadelphia, the series starred Ben Savage as Cornelius A. "Cory" Matthews, who at the outset of the program was 11 years old. Hoping to make sense of the world around him and to hack his way through the thorny thicket of "tween-age" (and later teenage) life, Cory found a kindred spirit in fellow 11-year-old Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong), who lived in a trailer camp with his combative parents. Cory himself resided in a comfortable suburban home with dad Alan (William Russ), mom Amy (Betsy Randle), footloose older brother Eric (Will Friedle) and precocious kid sister Morgan (played first by Lily Nicksay, then by Lindsay Ridgeway); near the end of the series' run, Amy gave birth to a fourth child, a boy named Joshua. At school, Cory was kept in a state of constant terror and confusion by his mercurial teacher George Feeny (William Daniels) -- and making things worse, Feeny lived right next door to the Matthews family. On a more pleasant note, Cory harbored a crush for his classmate Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel), a feeling that would blossom into true love as the series rolled on. During his elementary school years, Cory also palled around with a nerdish intellectual named Stuart Minkus (Lee Norris). When Cory entered John Adams High School, he discovered, to his horror, that Mr. Feeny was now his principal. Also, Cory was faced with a new nemesis in the form of the bullying Harley Kiner (Danny McNulty). Even so, high school had its good points, including the presence of Cory's old friends Shawn and Topanga and his new buddies Joey (Blake Soper) and Frankie (Ethan Suplee) -- not to mention the school's coolest teacher, cycle-riding Mr. Jonathan Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn). The bond between Cory and Mr. Turner grew stronger when the latter became legal guardian of Shawn, whose parents had briefly vanished. (Shawn would later move back with his truck driver dad, Chet [Blake Clark]). During their high school graduation, Topanga impulsively proposed to Cory. The following year, they both enrolled in nearby Penbrook College, which was already being attended by Cory's brother Eric. Eric, in turn, was rooming with Jack Newman (Matthew Lawrence)...and when it turned out that Jack was the long-lost half brother of Shawn Hunter, Shawn moved in as well, simultaneously inaugurating a romance with Angela Moore (Trina McGee-Davis). Eventually, Shawn left, whereupon Eric and Jack found themselves with a new roomie, a no-nonsense, take-charge gal named Rachel McGuire (Maitland Ward). Penbrook College also proved to be a life-altering experience for dour Mr. Feeny, who fell in love with and married the schools Dean of Admissions, Ms. Bolander (Bonnie Bartlett). During the series' final season, Cory and Topanga were wed and moved to New York with Shawn and Eric, Angela moved to Europe with her dad, and Rachel and Jack joined the Peace Corps. Boy Meets World remained an ABC Friday night fixture until its cancellation on September 8, 2000.

THE WINCHESTER BOYS COME TO SMALLVILLE --- Sam(Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester(Jensen Ackles) roll into the quiet, yet anything but normal, town of Smallville and encounter an enigma the likes of which they've never met; Clark Kent(Tom Welling). While on the hunt for a supposed vampire nest, Sam and Dean find an unusual ally in what most call a simple farm boy. As the boys go up against a horde of unstoppable creatures, Sam discovers that he and Clark share a similar burden of destiny and tragedy. Meanwhile, Lex's(Michael Rosenbaum) obsession with Sam's powers lead to the Winchester boy being trapped in the mysterious 33.1. Can Clark and Dean rescue Sam while battling the raging monsters of Hell itself? The men and women of the CW Television Network collide in an epic, series spanning adventure full of action, drama, romance, betrayal and sorrow. Kristin Kreuk, Erica Durance and Allison Mack also star. James Marshall directed the episode written by Eric Kripke and Kelly Souders. Now that the hyperbole and mock descriptions(which I kept very close to the official CW descriptions for Smallville) are out of the way, I have been so excited about seeing this trailer completed. It truly has been a long time coming. I've been wanting to do a crossover between these two shows for so many years and now it's finally here. Probably since the beginnings of season two, when I knew Supernatural could be more than just a "Monster Of The Week" show and deliver characters that were so endearing and lovable. You may be able to tell by this trailer that I am a tad Sam-biased(my man crush on Jared Padalecki aside) on the Supernatural side, but still. I would be in total geek nirvana to see these two shows actually crossover(much like I was when I cut the X-Files/Smallville crossover). The opening Sam voice over comes from a promo that ran on the CW(the WB then) and I used it to add an overarching story element to the trailer, where by the end of the story, all three of them(Sam, Dean and Clark) have embraced who they are as protectors. Enjoy.
