Thanks so much for that busted vid. It really cleared up some stuff for me. I have a question though.

I'm wondering if someone who wrote graffiti, say a 15 year old male, that was caught but not in the act of vandalism, with a backpack full of spraypaint and markers, could get out of a search by simply saying "I don't consent to any search" when they ask to see his backpack? What would happen? Would the police officer take it to another level, or somehow get around the consent law? Would the officer take him into the station, or just let him go?
