I use my Roland V-Drums TD-20S Kit to make these videos. I get better sound quality control when recording these with my video-camera. However when I perform Live I use my acoustic Pearl Masters Custom- MMX Drums.

Being involved with numerous bands, recording studios and live shows, the only difference between playing Acoustic Drums and V-Drums is the sound, volume and dynamics. To me there is no difference in how you play it or what you play on. I have found that making these videos I prefer the V-Drums because I can control the levels of volume mixed in with the track, which gives true color and tone to the audio, also using head-phones I can hear the master track.

I do not cover the song Exactly the same as the original drummer. I try to keep my own style & show some originality on each video. I have great respect for all the Drummers I make videos with...It's just my own recreations & reflections of each song...In no way do I even compare to these artist. My style is different & I can not duplicate a perfect song. I just want to celebrate these awesome tunes with you! I am not a pro.

Currently I'm taking a break from bands & live shows. However I still do drum-tracks in a few recording studios.

I've never had any lessons & I'm Self-Taught
