Born and raised in Newburgh, N.Y. began to
study the Martial Arts in 1973. Moving to S.E. Florida in 1978, he studied Chinese and American Kenpo Karate. Sensei Kevin received 1rst degree Black Belt under SiFu Thomas Elmore and SiFu Pat Yax in 1986.
Sensei Kevin became interested in 1991 in Nisei GoJu Ryu and studied under Grandmaster Frank Ruiz until his demise in 1995. Sensei also studied under Kyoshi Bill Wendell in the Nisei System. He continues to study International Nisei GoJu Ryu under Hanshi Wilfredo Roldan who is the inheritor and Grand Master of the Nisei GoJu Ryu System. Sensei Kevin has competed for many years in the Florida's S.E. tournament Circuit, he was 1995 UFSKA Form Champion. He received his Teaching Licenses from: Shihan Frank Ruiz and Hanshi Wilfredo Roldan. Sensei Kevin is currently Teaching Selected Students in S.E. Florida. Kevin Fookes YoDan Renshi 4th Degree Black Belt in Nisei GoJu Ryu System. International Nisei GoJu Ryu World Headquarters.

	darktim99 \| April 19, 2008 been into the martial arts from an early age i've always been doing stuff. started i n karate but i was too young and didnt understand it. then in me early teens i got into judo and was there fro years, competing and was really at good level. then i went into kick boxing (western and muay thai), JKD, submission wrestling. been doing that for years cross training. at the mo ive started learning splashing hands kung fu and started iron hand training today! was really into it and didnt want to stop lol. but everyday am training. always pushing it. as well as that i do parkour and as thats body weight and explosive dinamyics coupled with cardio that keeps you fit too! i love it. love all training.
