Here's some of my problems with Islam. Muslims believe that their god 'allah' made the Torah and Bible, but mankind corrupted it. God promises to preserve His words in the Torah. We read 'The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.' (Psalms 12:6-7) That means this god 'allah' is either a liar, or is weak, and unable to preserve his word, and that mankind is more powerful this 'god' called allah. That is a pathetic god, and I refuse to worship him.
Actually, between the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which are over 2000 years old and match perfectly what we use today, and the 24000 manuscripts of the New Testament, we can know 100% for certain that The Bible has never been changed. Infact, The Bible is the most trust worthy book in all of antiquity. Muslims claim their scriptures are authentic because they haven't changed in 1400 years. While that is simply not true, the more important fact is that The Bible has been proven to be preserved for over 2000 years. It is an old Islamic lie to claim The Bible is corrupt, because if The Bible is true, that means Islam is not true; The Bible teaches the total opposite of the quran.
The first thing Satan did in the scriptures was he tried to make Eve doubt God. Adam was told by God Himself that if Adam ate from the forbidden fruit, he would die. Satan then told Eve that she would not die; Satan called God a liar. That is what Satan does to this day, and is what Islam is all about; making you doubt God's word. The Bible can be trusted, and must be trusted. Islam exists for the single purpose of trying to make you doubt The Bible. Don't fall for it.
A prophecy made hundreds of years before Christ foretold than once the Messiah came, there would be no other prophets.
'Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to SEAL UP VISION AND PROPHECY and to anoint the most holy place.' (Daniel 9:24).
So, by God's own word, Mohammed is not a prophet. Also, 600 years before Mohammed was born, God warned us about Islam. Mohammed was foretold, in this passage;
'Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.' (2:22-23) 'you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come...' (2:18) In the fourth chapter false prophets are noted, and one of the characteristics of a false prophet is to deny that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world. In a positive way, 'Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him and he in God.'(4:15) John continues to warn: 'He who believes in the Son has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God, has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne to his Son. And this is the testimony that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life, he who has not the Son has not life.' (5:10-12)
In Exodus, God gave Moses His holy name.
Exodus 3:14 But,' said Moses to God, 'when I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' if they ask me, 'What is his name?' what am I to tell them?' God replied, 'I am who am.' Then he added, 'This is what you shall tell the Israelites: I AM sent me to you.'
Now look at what Jesus said.
John 8:24 ' That is why I told you that you will die in your sins; for, unless you believe that I am He, that is what will happen.'
'I tell you the truth,' Jesus answered, 'before Abraham was born, I AM!' (John 8:58)
Jesus used the name of God for Himself! The people at the time picked up stones to kill Him when He claimed to be 'I AM', because they knew what He was claiming. This name, 'I AM' or 'YAHWEH' is found over six thousand (6000!) times in the Torah and The Bible. All the prophets of God knew this personal name. However, the quran never mentions this name once, and mohammed never knew this name. 'allah' is not the name of the God of Abraham, and the fact that the true name of God is missing from the quran is proof that 'allah' is not the True and Living God.
Jesus had two titles. Son of Man (refering to His manhood) and the Son of God (refering to His godhood). Infact, The Father even calls Jesus the 'Son' and even calls Jesus 'God'.
