In 1999 Paul Roberts released his first solo album Faith? which was the birth of the Faithband. They started touring in 2000 and released their second studio album Self Discovery in 2001.
In 2002 they asked people to promote several gigs which initiated the Peoples' Acoustic Faith Tour.
In autumn 2002 the band went on the road again for the Set In Stone Tour. The third studio album The Pressure sensitive was released in 2003. In 2004 the band decided to change their name to Soulsec.

As well as touring and working on other projects they released five singles, many live albums and two DVDs.
The latest release is the single Desert Soul as a forerunner for the new album which will be released in autumn/winter 2006.
