Hello everyone and welcome to The Green Children Foundation channel.

We are two musicians who have set up a foundation to spread awareness about something we really believe in. We are focused on engaging the youth and spreading awareness about the power of microcredit (small loans to poor people). We are using our music to help meet this objective.

We are proud to be working with Professor Muhammad Yunus, winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize. It is our hope that we can raise awareness for a method of poverty alleviation that is really working.

The poor have ability, what they lack is opportunity.

Sometimes a hand UP is better than a hand out.

It's called CSG (Cambodia Support Group), We travel around canada playing music instruments (me classical guitar), and funraise for people in Cambodia. 	chicky0070543\| May 14, 2008 i want you guys to know that , as i was growing up, i too was faced with hunger, along with abuse and neglect. the funny thing is, that it was here in our huge united states. we lived on bacon grease and rice. if we were luck to have eather. for a long time i held it against God, for not helping me. But one day, I have seen that he was always there. i just didnt seek him. I am alive today because, there is a reason why things happen and in that i can help others in need. because i can relate to so many. great love and understanding your friend chick

They destroy and don't care, they kill each other as a result of greed, and when they find what they are looking for they don't use it. But then emerges a group that builds what was destroyed, and revive the dead. Help those in need!! And you will shine as the Gods of the new world.

I love the idea of micro-financing, and I actually helped research it as a possible plan for poverty alleviation for my school's debate team. My church is into micro-financing and after all the reading I've done on it, I think it may be the one plan to solve poverty. Like you said, the poor have the will, but not the opportunity.
