I pulled this quote from the page of a white nationalist:

The Darwin family were known for their strong interest in eugenics. This insidious philosophy, that certain human (often racial) traits are superior to others, was adopted most famously by the Nazis who set up a human breeding program (among other horrors that do not need stating). It was also practiced in the US where people deemed unfit by the government to spread their genes were steralised against their will. Darwin and his family's sick philosophies have led (after Darwin's death) to a movement called Social Darwinism, which basically holds that those who succeed in society are somehow intrinsically superior to those who fall behind for whatever reason, who are seen as less valuable.

I think this is disgusting, the world is more then just black and white...there are far more details that determine how our lives pan out then mere biological attributes. For instance, had Charles Darwin been born into a poor cockney family would he have sailed on the Beagle and written those books? I doubt he would have had even a complete primary school education had that been his fate. So is Social Darwinism REALLY about survival of the fittest, or merely survival of those with the greatest access to financial and educational resources?

..."the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate, and replace, the savage races throughout the world..." HOW IS IT "CIVILISED" TO EXTERMINATE OTHERS PURELY BECAUSE IN YOUR OPINION THEY ARE INFERIOR...I ASK YOU ALL THIS HONEST QUESTION???

Racism shocks me to the deep core of my being. Please also note that an overtone of Darwin's writing is that he wished to designate non-Whites as a different or sub- species (savages), sidelining them to the box labelled 'non-human', and therefore 'animal'. Just think of how much easier it would be then to exterminate those people without qualms if you believed that everything that belongs in that 'animal' box has no moral right to be protected from
suffering or unneccessary death. If you will allow, I would like you to take this thought one step forward...imagine if the designation for animal changed to something that was respected and cherished instead of exploited and destroyed? Would not we all be better protected from future atrocities? Think about it :-)
