ok allehoboys technically they DID do what the fans wanted teppei even said himself that the fans were saying "Oh this song sound like this element and this song sounds like this" and thats when they decided that they were gonna change it up a bit and i love every single song they have ever wrote so yeah...get back with reality stupid

Yikes. Looks like someone's forgetting the point of music; it's an art, a form of expression. They've chosen to be progressive and create new musical ideas. They shouldn't be aiming to please the fans; someone's always gonna love it, and someone's always going to hate it. They shouldn't stay stagnant, rehashing the same sound over and over just to keep their original fans. All they can do is what they feel is right, and hope that the listeners can appreciate it and, perhaps, enjoy it.

allehoboys, are you saying you can't find not one song to like on both Alchemy Index's? I agree their early stuff is great,but I also think that the new direction they've taken is awesome, and they've been making some truly extraordinary music. Nowdays most rock bands only sing about getting laid and driving fast cars... *cough* Nickelback...

It's good to have a band like Thrice that actually knows how to write music.
