Please enjoy my videos. All the stuff I post is "public domain", and picked from other web pages, DVD collections, and the internet archive. I especially love the old black & white Dragnets for it's film noir qualities. Some people on here will post just anything because they find it on the internet, and you will see some of the same videos I have posted. When videos are pulled from DVD or the internet archive they are in a format unfriendly to You Tube. I first download or copy the raw video in .avi or .vob format. I can always tell when a vid has been downloaded directly from The Voice of Reason or the internet archive, because the poster usually doesn't know to convert the format, and it's necessary to post the video in 5 parts. I convert the video to windows media which greatly reduces the size for You Tube, and only requires I break it down into 3 parts. I actually watch and do research on every episode I post, not only for enjoyment, but also to make sure the video is correct. Everything you see here is done for the enjoyment of my fellow You Tubers. I LOVE COMMENTS !! Please have fun here.

MY LITTLE MARGIE-
I've picked up a few good full length episodes from the internet archive. This is a great early comedy that had a lot of loyal fans, although it never made it into the top 20. Gale Storm is a talented comedienne who gets herself into crazy "I Love Lucy" type situations in many episodes. This show is unusual as it features an often used black cast member named Willie Best. He plays Charlie, a sort of bellhop where Margie lives. Although treated very friendly by the show's characters, he is referred to as "boy" in several scripts. Wow! That was the fifties. I will post episodes as I work on the video.
