This is a video I made to help people beginning to play demoman in Team Fortress 2. I hope it helps people ^^.
Added hints and tips: - It was pointed out to me that the video lacks sufficient explanation on how to take down sentries. The main tactic is to fin a place where the sentry doesn't see you and where you can shoot over something to hit it. Then, lay stickies under or around it and ignite 3-5 stickies at the same time.
- Also, it was pointed out to me that crouching while stickybombjumping greatly increases how far you fly. I didn't know this, but it's true and is a really nice tip. So if you need the extra distance, lay a stickybomb, jump over it, crouch in mid-air and set off the bomb. It helps.
- The bottle can be broken for extra damage. To break it, hit a wall or another solid object a few times with the bottle. Apparently, it does more damage when broken.
- Regarding recent nerfs: The demoman has been made less powerful un two ways recently: You have half the stock ammo (32 to 16 for stickies I believe) and shot grenades now always damage you if they hit someone right in front of you. As for the ammo, many people make a fuss of it but it's actually not that big a deal. There's almost ALWAYS a ammo pickup nearby and you could always pick up someone else's gun. Also, you shouldn't run out ammo that much at all I guess.
The second posed more of a problem for me, because as shown in the video, I use my shot grenade launcher for short-range purposes. This used to, very rarely hurt you. However, now you end up always damaging and sometimes killing yourself. The damage is not much, and often you can take it, but I thought I should mention it because it makes the method shown in the vid a lot less useful.
This is made with the PC version, but it all apllies to the 360 too, naturally. Oh, and sorry for the weird Technique s- text, but I somehow couldn't get that right.
I play on the Multiplay Dustbowl 24/7 servers (Both I and II) mostly, so most was filmed on these servers.
Fun fact: At about 1:45, the guy I'm killing is Daedalus, who made two other How To Play TF2 videos: Spy and Pyro.

This video shows you the basic things you'll need to know in order to do well as a Demolition Man in Valve's Team Fortress 2.
Don't forget to rate, favorite or comment!
As a Demo, you'll usually be expected to take out enemy Sentry Guns and to defend certain areas (capture points, intelligence, etc.)...but of course you can do much more. ;)
You can use sticky mines to jump great distances. You can use this technique to jump on points, over enemies, on top of certain buildings that other classes can't reach, and so on. This gives you a great advantage on most maps.
Remember that you can throw sticky mines farther by holding down the fire button for a while! In the video, I use this to take out sentries that are very far away (too far to shoot me!) or even to take out snipers. The power/distance of the shot is indicated by a little horizontal gauge that fills up at the bottom-right of your screen.
You can even use stickies to separate an ubered player from his medic, so try to do that when you can, and also try to stay behind walls and shoot or bounce grenades around them to kill your enemies without getting killed yourself.
I played back my demos at 1280x960 with max settings, 4x AA and 16x AF. I then recorded the video at half-res (640x480) and 30fps using FRAPS using an Intel Core2Quad Q6600 running at 2.8ghz with a Geforce 8800GT and 3GB of RAM at ~750mhz.
This game is much more fun than Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, Gears of War, Grand Theft Auto IV, etc. ;)

EDIT: I've tried to keep the comment board open to discussion, even though I disagree with the assertion that this clip is dissrespectful. However, I'm not going to let it turn into a flame war, so you will be removed for personal assaults.
I clipped together scenes from the film "Saving Private Ryan" with sound clips from the Valve game Team Fortress 2. I added a plug for our servers, 3lazydogs.com. I play there under the name Spaded!, so feel free to get your game on.

Just because I've seen other people making ringtones for classes I've neglected, or just didn't upload to youtube, I figured I'd put up the other ones I've made and make some more. Also, because people have been subscribing, which means I guess you want more.
Last one for right now, but I'll make the other four classes soon enough. I think I enjoy spy or scout the most, but I haven't played spy much lately and I find myself playing medic when no-one else will. Oh well, I'm using these for friends anyway.
FINALLY, DOWNLOAD LINK! http://www.mediafire.com/?bdznmcy1ghd (fixed, now) I'll upload the rest to mediafire and link them as well.
Say, if anyone has webspace to put these up together, feel free to contact me.

Tip: Don't put on an enemy disguise when in your own base because you never know when there is a spy about. If you do, you could be an easy target. But do so when the enemy is attacking and try to blend in with them.

A little video i put together for those that are new to the game and maybe needs some help on this particular map. Hope it will inspire you to practice this class.
By the way, using the bat isnt the most effective way to go, i just did it in the vid to show you a "funny" way to take down snipers, but its far from the most effective. To increase your chances of getting them i would simply recommend the "scattergun".
Music by "Porcupine Tree", The track is called "Orchidia".
Please comment, they are well appreciated, and tell me if there is anything i could do better, or forgot.
