At the heart of every great religion lie the same eternal truths, where things go awry is when people take ancient writings and pose them as an authoritative "word of god" when they are only actually inspired writings that contain wonderful moral lessons and virtuous allegories...but some feel the necessity to use these writings to build dogma, doctrine & creed to enslave minds.
