I never said he was marginal, you did. Paul and John hogged up the limelight. Gentily weeps and other songs he wrote holds up to anything Paul and John did. The fact is he did better without the beatles than John or Paul did on their own.

You are so wrong it is hard to figure out where to start. George was not a great guitarist, but he held his own with song writing: my guitar gently weaps, Something, and other songs that Frank Sinatra once claimed were among the best songs ever written. My Sweet Lord lost only because the other song writer rerecorded the original hit to make it sound more like My Sweet Lord. But most song writers are influenced by others -- including Lennon and McCartney.

Because it is disorienting, and I needed to listen to what was being said to see if there was a reason for the sideways shot. A guy advertises in our newspaper with an upsidedown picture for the same reason. It gets attention.
