I'm glad you liked the prank phone call story. LOL...those were the good ole' days before Caller ID! It was great to be a kid in the 90's. I got away with a lot of stuff that you can't do anymore!

I'm going to post another video soon with all 4 of my transformers hooked up to the Jacob's Ladder. The last one was just with my crappy webcam. I'll use my digital camera this time.

Well, yeah the OBIT probably has bad voltage regulation. There's nothing wrong with the transformer, it's just the way it's made. When you draw a load, the voltage drops. They're current-limited, which is good for high voltage experiments because it keeps the transformer from overloading when you short it out. But the problem is that if you run a real load from it, it drops the voltage.
