ITA. Now that all the weaker dancers have been weeded out, the show is a lot better! I can't call who I think will win, its too soon yet.

Yeah, I hope DWTS isn't cancelled in the near future. Hopefully last season was just a bum season and the next will be good like before. I'm crossing my fingers.

When you have snow for 10 out of 12 months of the year, you learn to loathe it. ;)

Yeah, ther is like what, one ballroom dancer left (out of like 2, unless you count Susie, which I don't) on SYTYCD? SYTYCD this year is pretty good, but like almost every other reality TV competition, it is starting to slip. Lol, I like to joke that America has almost been tapped dry of it's talent. AI's singers aren't as good as before, DWTS is seeming a little lack-lustre in comparison to previous seasons... what can I say?

The judges this year on SYTYCD are patronizing the contestants more than usual. Some of the dances they said were very good/excellent, I thought were only ok. Are you finding this?

Yeah, it was predictable. I guessed kristi would win from day one. Well, she got a 90/90 during the finale, and Jason was like 10 points behind. But at least a woman has won again. :)

That is so cool! I'd love to live in the LA area, it would be lovely to not have to deal with like 8 months straight of snow! Snow is good when it's Christmas time, not in April!

I can't wait for SYTYCD to finish auditioning, and the real competition to start. It looks like they have a strong group of talent this year (so far).

no i would probably never compete, im no good at all, i look like a foolw hen im with my dancer friends, i can just "get by" when it comes to dancing, but i have spent alot of time being taught tango and foxtrot the most because i love them, my friends mom on weekends teaches me those 2, but i go to beginner classes

Yeah, I think that Mario was the right person to go. I agree with you, his floppy-foot jive was not very good. I think it will be Marissa next week. I'm amazed she lasted this long! I thought she would have left early on in the competition. She will probably end up like Marie Osmond and stay on too long. IMO, she should go next week.

I think if the people keep voting for Kristi, she has a good chance of winning. Its been too long since we have had a woman win DWTS! Only time will tell...

I'm glad that Shannnon is gone also, she was over-rated. I'm not too keen on the one-lift rule. I think that doing lifts should be like a priviledge, and only allowed in the freestyles during the finale. IMO, some of best dances I have ever seen have no lifts. I perfer to see the technical ability of the dancers, not just how strong they are. :P

My thoughts on Cristian: Kudos for sticking to it, but maybe not the smartest choice in this situation. If I tore a tendon, then I would rest it up (albiet, I didn't follow this advice in the past thus resulting in year long battle wiht an achillies tendon injury). Having said that, good luck!

Kristi is a tank! She's been on top of the leaderboard since day one, and she has earned her right to stay there. I just hope that if she gets a lower score, she isn't eliminated by not enough people voting for her (like Sabrina).

I agree, Marissa is surprising! Her v. waltz was very good, and I'm glad she's improving. :)

Yeah, I've noticed the resembalance between Shannon's and some of Julianne's costumes.I read in an article once that they do re-use some of the costumes on DWTS, so it could be the same dress.

Yeah, not a smart move for Shannon and Derek. I knew that Shannon was a little high-strung, but I was very dissapointed in Derek! He bashed to other contestants! I know he's human and he was angry, but you just don't do that! Don't degrade other people to make your point (I learned that the hard way). He apologized, and I forgive him, but I won't soon forget this. If shannon can't handle a little bit of negative feedback, then she shouldn't have signed up! No votes for them from me.
