i am HONORED to receive the compliments of such a masterful musician such as yourself. I noticed your first subscription was Thom Bresh .. Thom has seen my vids too and complimented my right hand technique . that was an awesome moment too .. I have a cousin who lives in Nashville. I plan on coming there some time in the near future. Feel free to pass my info to any promoters / managers / labels etc thanks again Jeff |

Bobbe,
I got some of your instructional videos recently. I've been playing guitar for over thirty years but pedal steel for only four. Man alive, my sloppiness and bad habits are evaporating by the day. The licks and turn-arounds video is simply killer. Thanks for sharing such a wealth of knowledge. It's a dream come true to have a private lesson everyday. I hope to one day make some of the amazing sounds you make. You rule! |

Hi Bobbe. Thanks for subscribing to my musical attempts.
Much appreciated. I've been a fan of yours since I discovered you about 20 years ago on a cassette tape with Bob Saxton on guitar. I subscribe to your steel guitar newsletter and ALWAYS enjoy it and always look forward to the next one! Thanks again. Verlon |

I don't know if you got my last message.
You sold me my first GFI ULTRA. She is still beautiful and never lets me down. Please understand that I am not a great player because my disabillity has slowed me down, but I just get chill bumps when I play it. Gene Fields is a saint about adapting the steel for people with disabilities and should be commended. I have Multiple Sclerosis and can be a bit jerky in my playing. So, now I go for the pretty passages instead of flash. I was never much for speed as this is not track and field, it's poetry. I just wanted to share a testimonial and say hello and I'm glad you are here. Thanks for the great music and steel. Steel guitar is alive and well and I'm going to keep performing proudly, especially with my monster GFI tone. Your the best! Your friend and fan, Robinson Scott Strickland FAITHOUSE |

Just a fantastic and spirited reminder of how cool steel guitar can be...and how cool YOU are, Mr. B--only a steel player would feel that flying a small plane with one hand and taking pictues with the other was safe! Keep up the brilliant work! Your pal, Dr. Stephen Patt
