Two Brooklyn Quaker Parrots keep an eye on a local hawk from a safe position within their well protected "monk bunker." When the parrots sense an opportunity to escape, they dive from their nest, noisily announcing their departure to the rest of the flock.

I have a quaker and they are so cute here in puerto rico they live all over the place but you dont see them that much./They pass around my house like at 4:00 flying to roost.

I know this bird is NOT a Quaker, But he has been a rescue for 5 years in our sanctuary and actually received a sponsor 2 days ago.
