Check out my version of "I Wanna Stay Home" by Jellyfish, which is to be featured on the forthcoming album "Sensory Lullabies: The Ultimate Jellyfish Tribute Album" (see the link on my myspace profile).

You can also see me doing some covers at www.youtube.com/cardwellers.

Here you will also find some groovy favourites I've selected, mostly music and old TV shows that moved me in one way or another over the years.
Just because a video is in my favourites doesn't mean that I endorse it or approve of it in any way.

(e.g. the James Last one is only there because I always thought he was funny peculiar and it brought back many happy memories of sheer bemusement at, what was it called... "Star Parade" I think)

If you like my own tunes you can find much more pristine recordings of me at my MySpace profile (www.myspace.com/dccardwell or simply click on the link below)

Hi DC!
thank for your comments. I'll make sure I pass it on to charlotte. I also received your email and yes, we must catch up at The Mentone and be inspired by the Great Gil Askey. Our Sundays unfortunately are booked in the next few weeks so it may have to wait till Sept. But, I'll make sure I keep in touch. BTW, are you currently performing anywhere? I'd love to hear more of your music. Alf

The Blue Trane vid is great Deecee!!! Smooth walkin maaaaan and you look very jazzy in yo shades!! Love all the solos! Was your son the one with the tenor in front of you? Thanks for the lovely words on Richie. I don't yet have a real video cam.. Those were from my cell phone, hence the extreme brevity of the clips. He's got his own page on myspace and a few tracks he did about 10 months ago.. In my top friends.. I'll send you a friend request there too. He really has "it" !! and I'm very proud..
I think being able to improvise is such an outlet for the soul!!! Yay!!
Big UP mate!!! I don't know why but lately I'm unable to post responses on the video pages themselves.. Some bizzarre computer thing. So that's why I'm writing here. LOL.. Will check the gypsy jazz stuff! Do you do django?? :)
Love,
Debs x
