It's good to be back on track and uploading music again. I'm still bitterly dissapointed with the problems associated with good quality playback in stereo ... I've wasted an awful amount of time trying to solve this problem and i am not a happy bunny at the moment.
Anyway, maybe some of the Techs up at You Tube HQ will sort it out one day.
Technical Info:
This video was recorded using a cheap webcam and direct audio recording to the PC's soundcard.
The audio could still do with some improvement, but, this is far better than the normal monaural sound delivered by You Tube.
Codecs used for this video were:
VIDEO:
H264 in an MP4 container @ 700Kbps level 4 rendered from an original .wmv file of some 5Mb in size with an original bitrate of 1442 Kbps in an ASF container. Original framesize was 640x480 at 25fps.
AUDIO:
Vorbis codec configured for an average bitrate of 208Kbps rendered from an original 44.1Khz Stereo recording.
Over 100 sample videos have been uploaded in various formats, set to Private viewing until a satisfactory result was found using a number of different FREEWARE applications. I am sure that the quality can be improved even more than this - however, I have to get back to playing, recording and uploading once more.
Guitar: "Elena" handmade Spanish Electro-acoustic.
Roland GT8 multi effects processor for chorus and reverb.
Preamps: Right channel Roland JC120 Left channel Fender Twin
Strings: LaBella 900-W (wound 3rd - Gold trebles and polished alloy basses)
Recorded using an original Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 6.0d wave editor.
