this is a song about a girl i once new...we had romantic meetings in far away places like paris, marakesh and amsterdam....sometimes we would dance, we always had a lovely time together....one day she went away , just dissapeared....i was thinking about her this week, and our kisses...the sweetest most gentle soft warm kisses of love...we shared....made me write this song....trying to catch and to taste a memory. i think i loved her more than any girl i ever knew...i think i always will.

Sunlight scratches my window, and I know there's no more sleep. Sharp fingernails across chalkboards screaming in my eyes to rise, and face another day of living without you.
Those days tumble together and I know they'll never stand. Dull monuments to wasted time falling at my feet, like sleep, and other failed escapes from living without you.
But I'll never give it up 'cause time is on my side. And soon a day will dawn when you wake up at my side in the early morning light.
Sunlight shatters my window and I'm rescued from my sleep. Bright signal flares chasing the night searching for my eyes, to rise, and start another day of trying to reach you.
The day offers a promise and it's one I'd like to keep. A solemn oath to turn the tide rising from my heart, to start, and spend another day in trying to reach you.
And I'll never give it up 'cause time is on my side. And soon a day will dawn when you wake up at my side in the early morning light. In the early morning light.

a re-arrangement of dylan's 'every grain of sand'.. thanks to ResearchX for sending it and reminding me of it's lyrical beauty.. hope u like:)
every grain of sand
in the time of my confession in the hour of my deepest need when the pool of tears beneath my feet flood every new born seed there's a dying voice within me reaching out somewhere toiling in the danger and in the morals of despair
don't have the inclination to look back on my mistakes like cain i now behold this chain of events i must break
in the fury of the moment i can see the master's hand and in every leaf that trembles in every grain of sand
oh the flowers of indulgence and the weeds of yesteryear like criminals they have choked the breath of conscience and good cheer
the sun beats down upon the steps of time to light the way to ease the pain of idleness and the memory of decay
i gaze into the doorway of temptation's angry flame and everytime i pass that way i always hear my name
then onward on my journey i came to understand that every hair is numbered like every grain of sand
i have gone from rags to riches in the sorrow of the night in the violence of a summer's dream in the chill of a wintry night
in the bitter dance of loneliness fading into space in the broken mirror of innocence on every forgotten face
i hear the ancient footsteps like the motion of the sea sometimes i turn there's someone there sometimes only me
i'm hanging in the balance of the reality of man like every sparrow falling like every grain of sand

a song for the dispossessed..
written and recorded in a couple of hours, second take..
a song for the dispossessed.. written and recorded in a couple of hours, second take..
hunger of the body, hunger of the spirit, hunger of the mind...
strange innit?.. the more you say hunger the weirder it sounds, it tends to lose it's meaning...hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger..
sadly the more we say it it still remains..
no body *******
nobody knows where you're going nobody cares what you say nobody knows what you're knowing maybe it's better that way
nobody cares how you're feeling nobody really wants to know nobody asks how you're doing nobody got no time to know
nobody wants to be like you nobody wants to hold your hand nobody really understands you just another beaten soul in a beaten land
nobody dreams what you're dreaming nobody waves as you pass nobody hears the sounds you're hearing nobody's there when those waves crash

so good to see you feel the same, thanks so much for the comments, i never expected such a response from a simple tune...i have no financial power, all i can do is write songs and try to articulate basic emotions we all share deep down.. whether 'some' people choose to believe it or not compassion and goodwill lie within us ALL..
thankyou people:))
