The Contemporary Studio of Glass Art started as an idea. In 2003 the thought of sharing art and glassblowing would be more satisfactory than pursuing our individual artistry. The seed of the CSGA was sown. From our ideas, we formulated a plan to create a non-profit entity that would allow us to teach. We saw an opportunity to include other visiting and guest artists who were also inclined to share. Since glassblowing is both a science and art, classes could be formed for beginners, intermediate and advanced instruction based on an individual's interest. In the winter of '04, they filed the papers and secured the site in Westmont that would become the center for advancing people's individual artistry through glassblowing. They always envisioned hands-on instruction with real results. Those results, finished glass art, can be viewed in the gallery of the Contemporary Studio of Glass Art.

If your into glass, you found the right place!!!
