I'm borrowing a quote from a graduate of the US Air Force Academy and a Gulf War veteran regarding America's place in the world:
"When leadership is exercised as a duty and obligation born out of humility and respect, then the subordinates are able to achieve more than they ever could have on their own. Humility is not a demonstration of weakness. Humility in leadership is the demonstration of strength".
That could also sum up the character of the man I voted for in the primary, Mr. Fred Dalton Thompson. Strength in humility. That was Fred.
"Leaving Iraq before the job is done would endanger our citizens and embolden the enemies who have vowed to attack us again. When it comes to the war on terror, our Democratic leaders should pay more attention to the warnings of terrorists like Osama bin Laden and spend less time heeding the demands of MoveOn.org and Code Pink." -- George W. Bush, Livonia, Michigan, June 25th, 2008
Name: Blue- Green eyed monster
Want to see what kind of wisdom we are missing out on without Fred in the running?:
"Sometimes you have to build bridges where you can - but draw lines where you must."
"Americans must think hard about the state of our judiciary when they select the next president. Unlike much of what passes for issues in this campaign season, this is one the next president will greatly affect, for better---or worse." Fred Dalton Thompson
"The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it."
Albert Einstein
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
-Edmund Burke
Fred Dalton Thompson quotes Edmund Burke:
"We have long recognized the role "change" plays in lives. Edmund Burke wrote extensively about it in the 18th century. He said that 'change was inevitable and when properly guided, change was a process of renewal. But it was his opinion that the man who loves change is disqualified from being a reformer because of his lust ... to be the agent of change.' Now, who does THAT remind us of? OBAMA PERHAPS"!?????
Country: United States
Interests and Hobbies: My main interest and hobby right now is to help get elected a President who understands the fight we face with Islamofascism. Though my preference, Fred Thompson, is out of the race, his good friend John McCain will do the job, and do it well. No way can we elect Barry Barack Hussein Dunham Obama. This country will crash and burn.
More Fred Wisdom:
It is not uncommon for a majority of the Supreme Court to make new law based not upon precedent but upon policy preferences of members of the Court. But this time it's part of a much bigger picture. It is about power, and who gets to exercise it in an area that is vital to the security of this nation. This time it's not only wrong, it's dangerous.
It should also be noted that Senator Obama thinks that the decision in Boumediene v Bush is an excellent one. I don't know what's worse: that he doesn't understand what the Court has done ... or that he actually does and still thinks this was a sound ruling. Good luck to all of us.

Movies and Shows: The best comment I ever rec'd on YouTube:
You allowed us see your unending smile, even the unsought of fouled mouthed liberals filled with hatred are able to glance, indulge in your passion now. So glittering bright you look the splendor of your smile. Thus, we may now look at your lovely face from time to time, docking our fighting ships, taken in by your immeasurable red, white, and blue enthrall.
Thank you,

Music: I like a ridiculous variety in music. Eclectic? Perhaps. Diverse? Definitely. I'm sure most of the bands I showcase on my channel would absolutely cringe to know that such a fanatic of the right is highlighting their music. Oh well, never said the libs didn't make great music. They just make horrible politicians. =0)
And, by the way, why is Russell all over my page like white on rice? I simply adore the Aussie dude, so sue me. BTW, say nice things about me, Russ is locked and loaded and ready to defend his sweetest fan in America! Love you, Russ baby. PS Occasionally, Mike Patton may find his way on my background. OOPS! Too pretty to hide. =0)
Books: Best book ever written = The Holy Bible, after that? Real stuff, none of this fiction crap. Pretty much anything from the historians, Newt Gingrich, Victor Davis Hanson, Norman Podhoretz, Mark Steyn and Natan Sharansky. I like men with brains. And intense, motivated, intelligent men... oh my gosh.
