DISCLAIMER: For entertainment purposes only. No copyright infringements intended. I don't own the rights of neither the clips nor the music and I don't make any money with this vid.
My first vid for my new favourite show! Since I'm not too familiar with the footage yet, I decided to start with two "soft", shippy vids as shippy vids are always good to get into a new fandom ;) (By the way: "Two" because I also made a Kara/Lee vid which will be up soon!)
The name of the song is actually "Breathe In, Breathe Out" but I liked the "light in your eyes"-parts so much, so I chose that line as the title for my vid.
Hope you enjoy! Comments are always welcome :)

Throughout Guess What's Coming To Dinner, Gaeta sings to distract himself from the pain after his leg is amputated. The song, Gaeta's Lament, serves as a narrative thread connecting the entire episode, not only communicating his character's misery, but weaving together the multiple story arcs.
* Alone she sleeps in the shirt of man * With my three wishes clutched in her hand * The first that she be spared the pain * That comes from a dark and laughing rain * When she finds love may it always stay true * This I beg for the second wish I made too * But wish no more * My life you can take * To have her please just one day wake

Here is another of my all time favorite romantic songs . . . Eva Cassidy's version of "Fields of Gold". I mentioned this in another recent video, but the world lost this beautiful singer when she died WAYYY before her time at the age of 33 from cancer in 1996. (It's why I truly believe that you have to focus on each day of your life . . . you never know when your "personal time clock" will stop ticking.) The other sad thing is that Eva, during her life, was almost totally unknown outside her home area of Washington D.C. and became famous only after her death. The British newspaper "The Guardian" later went on to describe her as "one of the greatest voices of her generation." Her posthumously released recordings have since sold in excess of four million copies, and in early 2001 the compilation album Songbird reached #1 on the UK album charts. It's so sad she never lived to see the recognition she deserved . . . I hope you enjoy her music as much as I do!
Here are the links to a wonderful three part series about Eva and her music that was on the American TV show "Nightline"; the series reconfirms the incredible impact her music had, and STILL has on the world:

The photos for this video are ones I took in England on various trips and from when I used to live over there. The primary castle shown in the video is Arundel Castle, in Arundel, West Sussex, England . . . I love wandering around old castles in Europe and visualizing the dozens of generations of people who have lived & died in them . . . it's amazing to look at stone steps in the castles that have been worn down simply from the thousands of people who have used them over the centures . . . it's also always eerie to visualize the battles that were fought at the castles and contrast those battles with the peaceful tranquility around these castles today . . . The Arundel castle was "remodeled" and expanded around 1300AD, and the initial castle built around 1100AD . . . it's always interesting to me how castles were often times remodeled WELL before the United States was even in EXISTENCE! :)
For more info on Arundel Castle (one of my favorite castles for wandering around :) ) please check out:

In addition to the castle (which also has a restaurant), the grounds include a beautiful old chapel, and gardens, and the town of Arundel is the quintessential old English town, so yeah, I highly recommend this beautiful place if you ever get to this part of England :)
and for castle history buffs, this website has lots of detailed info on the Arundel Castle:

"Come Undone" is the second single from the album Duran Duran (The Wedding Album) by Briti
"Come Undone" is the second single from the album Duran Duran (The Wedding Album) by British band Duran Duran, and is their twenty-fourth single overall. With their commercial and critical success re-established by the previous single "Ordinary World", the second release from the album continued to showcase more of the band's entry into the Adult Contemporary genre. "Come Undone" proved to be the group's second consecutive US top ten hit single from The Wedding Album. It was also popular in the UK and other international markets.
The group's guitarist at the time, Warren Cuccurullo, is credited with developing the instrumentation for "Come Undone", most importantly its guitar hook, which he developed while trying to do a re-interpretation of "First Impression" from their 1990 album Liberty. The lyrics were written by vocalist Simon Le Bon as a birthday gift for his wife, Yasmin Le Bon).
The group's bassist, John Taylor, did not actually play bass on this track. Nick Rhodes and John Jones both contributed synth bass on the track during his absence.
The "Come Undone" video was directed by Julien Temple. Shots of the band were filmed in the London Aquarium; these were interspersed with short vignettes of people "coming undone" in various ways. These vignettes include a little girl seeing her parents together, an older couple who have survived a flood, an alcoholic and a man who is revealed to be a cross-dresser. Also seen in the video is a woman struggling underwater to break free of the chains that bind her. Le Bon and Taylor's Vivienne Westwood wardrobe were likely a nod to the band's early New Romantic era.
The single was released in the United Kingdom on 29 March 1993, with the b-side "Ordinary World (Acoustic)". This was the single's official b-side in the UK.
The US was luckier. Across a myriad of formats Capitol put out no less than three new b-sides - "Time For Temptation", "Stop Dead" and an alternate mix of "Fallen Angel".
For collectors, the US releases also contained an alternate mix of "To The Shore" and the first appearance on CD of "The Chauffeur (Blue Silver)" (called "acoustic demo" here, due to the dreadful sound quality).
Meanwhile, to whet UK collectors' appetites, EMI released three album tracks on the second CD, along with the album version of "Come Undone". CD One faired slightly better with the beautiful acoustic rendition of "Ordinary World" propping up three mixes of the title track.

"Come Undone" reached #13 on the UK Singles Chart on 10 April, #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 17 April, #2 in Canada on 17 June, #19 on the Australia Top 50, #26 on the France Top 50 and #21 on the Sweden Top 40...
