Heard the news, very sad. One less vote for Obama, but unlike other more liberal reporters, you put journalism 1st & bias a distant second. Unrivaled election night coverage. Great 2008 coverage. You were fair to the far right & fair to the far left. You understood them both. So sorry for your family's loss; our loss. Last of your kind. God bless.

More opinion-mongering masquerading as objective, expert commentary. Russert is a joke.

One thing for sure, campaigns waged on platforms of inclusiveness and giving everyone a voice had better have the good sense to put the top two contenders on the ticket. For either Obama or Clinton to pick someone else as a running mate will disenfranchise half the party and assure defeat in the general.
