We are looking for groups of DJs to do a mix.
The minimum amount is two people.
You can only enter once per competition, per person.
Each time you enter on different accounts with the same people you must make up a new/ original mix.
PLEASE NOTE: One mix per person means two DJS can enter two different back 2 back mixes, one on each account

Respond to this video.
You need to do a tenminmix using audio and video. We need to see you doing the mix and the video too. You can use any audio video DJ kit you want. You can use any visual fx.
Because this is a new concept the first competition will start 24th April 2008 and go on to 24th October 2008 giving you 6 months.
For the first competition you can enter twice but the video mixes must be completely different.
you will need to post your video as a video responce to this video.
THE PRIZES!!
1st prize - a year's subscription to a MixMash Title of the winner's choice
2nd prize - 5 DVDs of the winner's choice from the MixMash collection
3rd prize - 2 DVDs of the winner's choice from the MixMash collection plus a copy of VJ Anyone's "Graph Beats"
10 runner-up prizes of a copy of VJ Anyone's "Graph Beats" to the first 10 entries to arrive who don't win 1st-3rd prize.
TIPS!!!, For a wider angle you can use a fish eye lense. Set the video screen close to you, or you could use a basic TV or even a PC/ LAPTOP.
It does not have to be pro audio/ video quality as we fully understand that we all don't have the best kit in the world, so just go for it and have fun!!

HOW TO ENTER.

1, show us your lights from behind the decks
2, show us your lights in front of your decks.
3, Try to make the video about 3 min.
4, Move around so we can see your light show from diferent angles, use your imagination.
5, We need to know it's YOUR light show, so show us yourself, or show us the lights as you set them up... just as long as we're sure you're not just filming someone else's gig!

You could set up your lights in the house or even make the video at a real gig.

You can have them just running sound to light or you can have them running on a DMX controller.
It's not about the amount of lights you have it's about how you have set them up and how good they look. You can use a smoke machine for extra effect but if you do PLEASE REMEMBER ABOUT ANY FIRE ALARMS IN THE BUILDING YOU ARE IN!! as smoke machines may set the alarms off!!!
