I'm Chuck Dietz from around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I've been playing guitar for 4 1/2 years (as of May 2008). My first influence and first music I started playing was Metallica. I took lessons for the first two years of my playing, which really helped me with the basics and technique, but since then I've been on my own. I'm in a band called Eternity Lost, and we will hopefully get to record during our spring break off of school. I am also filling in as a part-time guitarist for a cover band called Yinz Guyz, which gives me some good fun on the side and more expansion to my playing.
When I'm not playing guitar I like to skateboard. My best tricks that i can land on flat ground right now are probably triple kickflips and triple heelflips (see my video!). I am currently attending Duquesne University and I'm double majoring in Multimedia Arts and Computer Science. That way, I'll have music as my passion, and I will be able to create awesome multimedia to promote myself, band, or any friend bands.
I am also very driven and am molding my life into what I want it to be as time goes on. I have been inspired to make my dreams come true, whether it's making a ton of money, becoming a famous guitarist, or both by a book(also a DVD) called "The Secret". It includes concepts such as self-empowering and gratitude, and I think it's worth checking out! Thanks!
