Also, I wanted to clear up some questions people have been asking.

We changed the characters and parts of the plot so as to not completely copy Death Note. By doing this, we also were able to add our own creative spin to the story.

2. Where's L?
That's TBD as well. In the manga, L appears very early on, and I never really liked this. I thought there would be much more suspense to save him for later, which is what will probably happen. Part 2 will be all about Kira's paranoia, and may reveal L in the end. Again, TBD.

3. Why is our version set in Maine?
Because we live in Maine, and it was just a lot easier to set it in places we were familiar with. The Stephen King connection was purely coincidental, though he is a big influence for us. In fact, Gyges was based on the title character in King's short story "The Man in the Black Suit"

So if you haven't noticed, YouTube pulled our cut of Death Note due to copyright infringement. Only took them a year and a half, but whatever. I've decided not to worry about them, and from now on will not be posting videos via YouTube. However, our new videos will still remain available streaming and for download from the First Floor Productions website.

Also, this new ire has made me decide to restart work on Death Note. I had been discouraged by the hate mail I've been receiving steadily since the premiere, as well as the departure of several of FFP's actors. But I've been talking with Kenny (Gyges/Lind L. Tailor) and he really wants to finish it. So we'll be starting as soon as I draft a script.
