I have no decided to make a FAQ based on questions i get A LOT. so here it is :)

Q: Do you have sheet music for your songs?

A: Yes, most of the songs i play have sheet music available at www.apollomix.com, if you do not find the sheet there, i learned the song by ear, but you may be able to find it elsewhere by googling the name of the song.

Q: What kinds of music do you typically perform?

A: i perform all kinds of music, but video game music is my favorite, and i personally like Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog music the best.

Q: Can you PLEASE make tutorials!

A: NO, im sorry, but i cant. Theres many reasons for this as well.

1. Im no teacher
2. You should get a teacher if your serious
3. I have a life (aka no time)
4. The songs i perform are complex and would probably require more then hour long tutorials. hence the no time part
5. I provide sheet music for most of my performannces

So im sorry.

Q: Will you perform requests?

A: Sometimes. I usually am very busy with various things and i only learn songs i really like. though, if you have a request, please write a comment in my channel with the name of the song. you may just get lucky and i might do it.

Q: is there anywhere i can download videos or mp3s of your performances?

A: No, there is none at this time.

Q: How long have you played piano and did you take lessons?

A: I started piano with lessons at the age of 7. I took lessons for 8 years till i was 15. then i have self taught myself the last 4 years. ( i am 19 now)

Q: In some of your videos, the video doesnt match the audio!!! What is up with that!! Is it fake!!!

A: NO, not at all, some of my OLDER vidoes have what is called audio and video dysync, where the audi and video play back at different times and arent matched up properly. This was due to using a horribly crappy digital camera. I got a better camera now, and all my videos are now matched up perfectly. I assure you, its not fake, just the results of using a crappy camera.

Q: You play some songs too fast or they dont sound exactly like the original. WHY!!!

A: While I strive to make my performances sound as much liek the originals as possible, it is not always possible... You must remember most of the original songs are played with 4 or 5 or even more instruments and trying to squueze all of that onto piano usually isnt possible. I play the songs i think they sound best for PIANO. if that means going a little faster or a little slower. or playing one part instead of another, well so be it. I assure you though my renditions are quite accurate.

Q: What kind of keyboard do you use?

A: I have a Yamaha YPG-625

Q: How often do you upload new videos.

A: I try to upload a new video at least once a month. i usually get more then that, and sometimes less, but i guarantee ill average once a month at least.

Q: Are these songs hard to learn?

A: Some of these songs are tricky to learn, but so far i havent performed any horribly taxing songs. Most songs take me an hour or two to get down, and most i arranged myself so they arent that hard at all for me. and the hardest song i performed so far was the ZELDA twilight princess trailer, and that only took me 6 hours to learn. I am starting to learn much harder music, so look forward to that.
