My gaming name is Gorebag Da Lost -- ej gold to my friends...and I'm a professional game designer, level writer, model designer and, since 1959, I've been a jazz musician who paints backdrops for most of the jazz greats. In addition to jazz, I also enjoy playing and singing folk, rock and satirical songs. Back in the 60s, my closest friends were Jim Morrison, Naomi Ellen Cohen (Mama Cass to you), Peggy Lee, Bob Segarini, Hugh Romney (Wavy Gravy is his name these days), Gypsy Boots, Tommy Kelly, Trulee Fike, James Coburn, Phil Bruns, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Frank Herbert and Harry Nilsson -- I have about 18 hours of video and dozens of hours of audio working with Harry in studio, and thousands of photos of him from 1966 to 1993. Harry and I did a duet on video, "Lay Down Your Arms", which was never released. We also did a video of "Snow", words by Yoko Ono, music by Harry Nilsson, vocals by Harry and Jimmi Accardi...
I'm currently teaching drawing, painting, sculpture and tactile drawing for the blind, and doing lots and lots of new music. There's a giant photobiography by museum designer and writer Linda Corriveau -- she has included hundreds of hippe-era photos that I took or am in.
During the sixties I was heavily involved in the television industry as well as working at Columbia, RCA and the Hit Factory. Oh, yes...I am a board engineer, but now I leave all that to my good friend and double Grammy winner (best known for Tom Waits' Mule Variations) Oz Fritz, with whom I record between tours.
Besides all that, I'm currently writing six books on art techniques and one about my Otis experience and another about my experience as a young artist in MoMa's Children's Art Carnival during the 1940s...and no, I don't sleep...I alternately design levels and play TF2, diablo 2 and 3, make machinima with several engines on several platforms. this generally helps me make it through the night.
