Consequential libertarian, Humanist, Naturalist, Secularist, Empiricist, Atheist and all round walking talking cynical hypocrite.
Intrested in Science/Technology, Politics, Religion, Health/Fitness and ?

I cannot conceive of a God who rewards and punishes his creatures, or has a will of the kind that we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls, from fear or absurd egoism, cherish such thoughts. I am satisfied with the mystery of the eternity of life and with the awareness and a glimpse of the marvelous structure of the existing world, together with the devoted striving to comprehend a portion, be it ever so tiny, of the Reason that manifests itself in nature. (Albert Einstein, The World as I See It)

"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."
- Galileo Galilei
"And if there were a God, I think it very unlikely that He would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence."
--Bertrand Russell (1872 - 1970)
"There was a time when religion ruled the world. It is known as The Dark Ages."
--Ruth Hurmence Green (1915-1981)
"Life is not a game of monopoly- there are no prizes for amassing material wealth or social/political power, so how about sharing like your fictitious religions teach?"

God does not throw us into hell. We choose to go there through our actions and our thoughts. The pain you experience in hell is not caused by hell fire but by the absence of the lord.

so you don't believe in god well For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that WHO SHALL EVER BELIEVTH IN HIM SHALL NOT PEARISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE IN HEAVEN so sir if you pray that prayer god will forgive you

You can believe in both. God created the Universe and animals evolved into their present state today. You can have both. I just have a more open mind than you.

Why is the most important question of all. Why is reality. We all know how a volcano erupts and how tornadoes and hurricanes work. But we don't know the why. Asking why helps us understand ourselves and the universe.

More like the religous eye is open. I am not saying that I don't believe in science or evolution, I am just stating the fact that there are some questions that science will never be able to answer. Science is there to answer the how but it is utterly incapable of answering the why.

you really think the human race is evolving smarter? Or more able to consider complex theories? The enviornment doesn't really push us to do that, so there's really no natural selection for it, maybe all the smart people from mensa should get together and procreate... XD

I agree hammy, we gotta try as best we can to figure it all out. But what if our perceptions aren't ideal for certain concepts? I'm not sure we have the means to understand infinity, multidimensions, atleast not without abstract means like poetry.

It's like describing color to a blind man who's never seen, how would you?
