As far as I know, I was the third atheist-YTuber. I originally bought my computer to try and spread rational thought and I'd like to think that I helped, even if it was just a little tiny bit.

Atheism is more prominent and is becoming more accepted. I've really felt like I was part of something big. I'd like to thank my YT friends and subscribers. You've all affected my life in numerous ways.

Okay, now for the rest.

I'm a little burnt out. I haven't made a video in awhile and the creative juices aren't stirring. I'm working on a video rebuttal for Ben Stein's "Expelled" and after that, I think I'm going to take a break from YT. I'm not deleting my account and I'll still read PMs and check comments, but I'm going to try and keep away for most part.

I realize that being online as much as I have has not been healthy for me. I'm sure I'll be back at some point. I don't think it will be anytime soon, but then again, YT is like crack to me.

I'm a gangly 6'2" with humongous hands and feet. Seriously, I can ski without skiis and can palm a basketball with one finger and my thumb. Basically, I look like a mutant.

I have a deficient sense of humor and am socially awkward when I don't have delusions of grandeur.

I am currently between dreams and goals and am trying to find out WTF I want to do.

I became a deist in high school and changed to atheism a couple of years ago after re-examining my philosophies and beliefs.

Maybe because in many parts of the world, we would be beheaded or killed in the streets for denying god or opposing the government? The United States is and will always be based on freedom and democracy. The discrimination of anyone by the government, including atheists, goes against the constitution and the bill of rights; it goes against what makes the US so great. So no, we won't simply move somewhere else. Instead, why don't you move somewhere else? Then you'll realize how stupid your comment was.
	Raptorman117\| April 22, 2008 If the human mind is not connected to a "supernatural" realm (something outside the laws of physics), then there really is no way to determine "truth" in regards to a transcendent reality. Abstract thought would be meaningless. There would be no sure way of trusting our thoughts, including the ones about atheism. The concepts of "truth," "logic" and "evidence" would only be sensory experiences being interpreted by electrical impulses in our brain. If no transcendent reality exists, how can you be sure that you're right and I'm wrong about God? Even mostly sure? On a side note, just because you are an atheist, that in no way guarantees that you are "rational." If I don't believe in a God, that by itself does not qualify me to call myself a Bright, rationalist or freethinker. There are intelligent and dumb people in both camps.
