Overview:

Born in Queens, New York, Jason Rosell (aka Heat) lived there with his parents until the age of 10. Upon moving to Spain with the rest of the family for the next six years Jason discovered a passion and gift for entertaining people. While in Spain, he would also master his skills in not only English, but Spanish as well, speaking both languages fluently. After returning to the states at the age of sixteen, Jason completed High School in Daytona Beach, Florida where he also found his "calling" for the performing arts. Jason went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Public Relations from the University of North Florida. While doing a string of student films in college, Jason solidified his desire to act and perform.

After his first role on Discovery Chanel's "Dr. G: Medical Examiner", Jason made the decision to take his dream a step further and move to Los Angeles in 2005. He then went on to land an appearance on the WB show "Gilmore Girls" in 2006. Jason has also been seen in films such as "The Celestine Prophecy", "7-10 Split", "Chill", and "Trapped in Perfection". As a sign of his commitment, Jason registered as a member of the Screen Actors Guild upon his move to L.A. Recently Jason has acquired a rise in popularity after being cast on VH1s "I Love New York". An average of 3.5 million viewers got familiar with the charming & passionate Puerto Rican known as "Heat". Jason has been using his newfound celebrity status making various appearances at events and nightclubs throughout the country with fellow "I Love New York" cast mate "12 Pack".
