SNAPE LIVES! Years after the war, Snape gets a copy of The Deathly Hallows and decides to set the record straight (but not *too* straight).
Warnings: do not watch this if you object to men kissing, men and women kissing, DH Spoilers, older gray-haired Snape, literary pretensions, unbridled hippogriffs, or obvious use of Phoenix tears (thanks Snarry games Team Phoenix for the inspiration). SS/Lily and SS/HP. Plus bonus Rickman vocal goodness (the first speech is from Mesmer, dubbed over Sweeney Todd footage and the second speech is also from Mesmer). Music is Apocalyptica, In Memoriam.
It was my first attempt at video editing (I used iMovie 6)and it took FOREVER so feedback and suggestions are appreciated.

------ SYNOPSIS ------
Hermione and Ginny are both going out with two very loving Gryffindor boys, Ron and Harry. But, through the years, something has never quite fit. Soon, our heroines begin to discover how deeply they've been denying their affection for each other. Once they have fallen in love, there is no going back.
DETAILED VERSION :
Hermione's point of view-------
Hermione wonders if she's done wrong by dating Ginny behind Ron and Harry's backs. But, she's known all along what she was getting into. She's known all along what she felt for Ginny and what it would it would lead to. And now Ginny tells her she can't back down, not after all they've risked for being with each other, (risking losing their boyfriends and best friends). This is, of course, turning out to be excruciating. Just seeing Hermione and Ron holding hands, makes Ginny want to give it all away. But, hurriedly, Hermione consents to keep Ginny her "dirty little secret".
Ginny's point of view:------------
Life in the wizarding world is dangerous enough as it is. Ginny knows that the love she and Hermione share keeps them alive. She never wants to spend a moment apart from her. Ginny asks Hermione to do the impossible and to break up with Ron if she breaks up with Harry. But Hermione is shocked. How could they possibly do this to them. She doesn't want to risk losing them. So Ginny, in revenge, kisses Harry in front of Hermione, who, heartbroken, makes Ginny swear never to reveal their "dirty little secret".
Mixed point of views:----------------
Some ball has arrived at Hogwarts. Harry and Ron retire with Hermione for some drinks, but Ginny insists on dancing some more. So Harry allows Ginny to go off dancing with a younger Ravenclaw boy. Something is happening. The two girls won't keep their eyes off each other. Ginny has a spiteful smirk on her face and is purposefully flirting with her dancing partner. Hermione, visibly upset, storms out of the room, leaving behind a very confused and startled Harry and Ron. Later that evening, they meet up with her, but she chases them away. Angry and broken, Hermione falls to the floor crying and thoughts of her past with Ginny fill her memories.

Finally, Ginny faces Hermione and admits to being a jerk. She begs her to take her back, to see how strong they are together and how important their relationship is. But, then, Hermione realizes that nothing as beautiful as Ginny and their love should ever be hidden. So, the next day, they bring Ron down to the lake where Harry is reading and they both tell their boyfriends the truth. Ron is somewhat appalled. Harry is neutral. But the secret is out. Because, in the end... who has to know? Everyone...that matters.

But Snape begins suspect in Harrys loyalty because Harry and Ron are together all the time. Ron didn't know that Harry and Snape are together. So, Ron gets really angry. And then super friend Hermione wants to help, but she's secretly in love with Harry. Harry decides to break up with Snape. Snape doesn't agree, but another cute boy will come:). Ron tells Harry that he loves him. They even went to the Yule ball together. Hermione is jealous. And then one day she tells Harry in front of Ron that Ron and Seamus are lovers, which is btw truth. Harry and Ron break up. Harry's thinking about Snape,Ron, and the whole gay thing,and finally he remembers his best friend Hermione...

AU - When Harry Potter dies in a Quidditch match on a cold winter day his third year, Snape is haunted by the manner in which he treated the "Chosen One" during the course of his unexpectedly short life. In addition to blaming himself, he blames Harry's other teachers for their negligence and incompetence, which he believes may have led to his untimely death.
After Harry's funeral, Snape goes to drink his troubles away at a bar in Hogsmeade, or in this Alternate Universe, Violet Hill. There he runs into Ron and Hermione. The latter comforts him as he finally lets down his guard in the snowladen forest.
