Name: Jim
So we live in a world of immediate gratification through internet download. This (of course) has it's benefits and drawbacks. While we tend to think of the internet as a method for sharing all kinds of creative works, when it comes to video, it aint really there yet baby! That typed, I have decided to share my creative works with the YouTube community. What this means is that you don't have to go to a gallery or museum, or some other lofty place to see my work. What this also means, is what you are seeing is a compressed, low-resolution, tiny, pale-reflection, of what this stuff really looks/sounds like in a theater... or even on your TV. YouTube has a limit for file size, and as a result, much of the color, dynamic, detail, and basic thrust of the work is unfortunately lost. What this also means is that I can share my work directly with you! Which is very cool indeed! Hopefully enough of "the juice" of the piece comes through for you to enjoy it.

These animated works contain either original music by me, or by established bands (as noted). They are meant to warp your mind, and push perceptual boundaries. If you like what you see, check out my myspace page:

Cranky Disclaimer:
If you don't like what you see, maybe look again with an open mind. If that doesn't work, sorry I wasted your time and I can't give you back that 5 minutes of your life. If you are inclined to write constructive criticism, go ahead, doubt if it will change things. If you just wanna complain, then please don't bother. This stuff is free. A gift from me to you. I don't get paid for it. You can't return it at Target, and it aint got no naked ta-tas or explosions... although maybe that's not such a bad idea. So I guess what I'm saying is: "you get it, or you don't". I hope you do.

VJ's please, don't use these films in your shows. If you just have to, contact me, and maybe we can work something out (no promises though).

Enjoy

Thanx for watching, I really loved "whisper" quite mesmerizing and the music fit quite well. Must have been great to have a bank of systems for a render field.... I know what its like to wait days to see something come to life. I will watch more when I get time. I have some stuff on Deviantart dot com under capstoned.

established Bands, hear hear. Folks, there is nothing wrong with being an unestablished band. The Ramones did there best stuff when they were unestablished.
Anyway, thanks for subscribing and please feel free to comment and rate.

Thank you much for subscribing! I love your abstract videos as well. The 3D effect is interesting too. What's the theory behind it ?
