My name is Jeremy Martin & I am currently the Lead Singer & Rhythm Guitarist for the band Mind State (www.mymindstate.com).

Music has always played a major role in my life. I began writing & playing music at the age of 16. I started out playing the Bass guitar in a band when I was a freshman in High School. I eventually switched to playing the guitar a couple years later. I then played in a few Metal bands where I rotated from playing the Lead & Rhythm guitar, along with singing Backup Vocals. I've also played in a Blues Rock band for a while where I picked back up the Bass.
While I was in college I became more involved with playing acoustically, which allowed me to play more solo stuff outside of whatever band I was playing with at the time. Music has always been an outlet for me. I have been through some rough times in my life as for many other people out there & I think writing & playing music really helped me to express my feelings about whatever I may have been going through at the time. There were certain songs that helped me get through my rough times & I hope that my music will do the same for other people.
