I'm a wife, mother, environmentalist, democrat, peace and human rights advocate, vegetarian, lover of poetry, good books, and good songs that are not offensive to anyone.

I value honesty and integrity. Some who know me say I'm still on my spiritual journey. I believe I am a Muslim. I study Islam, read the Quran, and believe in a single Almighty Creator of the universe.

Geneticaly, I'm an American mix of European Anglo and Cherokee (Tsalagi) Indian. I identify with my Cherokee grandmother and American Indian ancestors for their cultural, social, ethical and moral values. My 5th generation Cherokee grandfather survived the "Trail of Tears" forced removal of Cherokee, Choctow and other indigeneous peoples from their native lands from Eastern United States to foreign reservation lands in what is now the state of Oklahoma, at gunpoint, by the order of President Andrew Jackson...for greed and ffor the gold.

I am also a loyal American. I don't agree with our leaders, and I hate wars, but I love my country which God blessed with breathtaking beauty and bounty.

I despise greed and oppose giant corporations such as those that blow the tops off the beautiful Appalacian Mountains, destroying forever God's work, to extract the cheap coal within.

I admire people such as Albert Einstein, Yusuf Islam, Sen. Barak Obama, President Bill Clinton, Paul and Linda McCartney, George Harrison, Ellen DeGeneres, President Jimmy Carter, Robert Redford, Leonard Peltier, k.d. lang, Mahatma Gandhi, Sequoyah (developed Cherokee sylabus alphabet) the Dalai Lama, Walt Disney, Carl Sagan, Lewis & Clark, Sacagawea, Martin Luther King Jr, Christopher Reeve, Bill and Melinda Gates, Vice President Al Gore, Mother Teresa, Aristotle, Rumi, John Trudell of the American Indian Movement and the most brave Native Indian that ever lived, Crazy Horse of the Lakota tribe who was murdered, with a bayonet in the back, for his bravery, and the Prophets Jesus and Mohammed.
