I don't think you did anything to help Joan Crawford... AT ALL!
I recently saw the film and was intrested in hearing something from Joan Crawford's side. But all I herd was a heap of opinions and no facts (unless you know something the rest of the world doesn't). You have NO IDEA what went on behind closed doors, and nobody really knows why she left Christina AND CHRISTOPHER out of her will. I think it was gutless of Christina to bring the book out when her "mommie dearest" wasn't around to defend herself, but I also think if she had to suffer 10 percent of what was written... it is indeed child abuse- screen legend or not.

Why are you so determined to "prove" that Christina Crawford was not abused by her mother Joan Crawford? What difference does it make to you? Joan has to live with whatever she did, and so does her daughter. Why not focus on your own life instead of trying to make someone you've never met out to be a liar? There is so much more in life to do. Important things, like looking after YOURSELF.
