I am a woman of substance. I dream in vivid color, but I see the world in infinite shades of grey. I believe that people should be judged, not by the color of their skin -- or the size of their body, but by the content of their character. I believe it takes a lot of character to be a fat person in a thin-centric world and not be bitter, hateful, or broken. I believe that hatred is a sign of a broken person. I believe that whole, unbroken people should not counter hate with hate, that whole, unbroken people should show by example that it is possible to be whole again. I believe in therapy. I believe in constructive anger. I believe in love and kindness, and I do not believe in the Beauty Myth.

I'm a fat woman in a thin-centric world. I'm smart, funny, artistic, multi-lingual, multi-talented, but all anyone sees is my fat. All I used to see is my fat. But I'm done with that. The point is not whether or not anyone else, and I mean anyone else, finds me attractive, the point is whether I find myself attractive. And I find good-hearted, kind, loving, intelligent, caring, and creative people immensely attractive. If you don't agree, it no longer matters to me.

	Choqtaw \| April 18, 2008 Hello, Windy Sue. 8u) Yeah, your new pink shirt is great. I have an idea why you have trouble with the sound in your videos. You use a laptop computer (Mac, aagggh) as you got rid of your desktop PC. Right? You're using a built-in microphone on that. Hence, when you get farther away from your computer the sound pickup suffers. You need to get a decent external microphone to plug into your laptop. Also, find your volume controls and make sure microphone volume is adjusted for good pickup.
