A few corrections to your misconception of Diesel technology:

1. "Diesel Particulate" is soot, aka carbon, which is heavier than air and sinks to the ground harmlessly.

2. Outputs of NOX or ahem.... nitrous oxide are not only not terribly harmful, which is a CARB misconception, but also a very miniscule part of the exhaust output, and negligible compared to the benefit of the slower burning fuel.

3. The compression ignition engine itself was designed to run on vegetable oils, so you were more accurate to blame the oil companies for the pollution problems you so clearly lament.

harley davidson sucks! these road hogs need to get with the times and drive honda or suzuki, unless they can't afford it. some road hogs are so stubborn to drive what they call 'rice burner motorcycles' because they don't want to accept that the japanese made motorcycles are the best.
