Detroit Free Press: Story ID: 9001270513, Pub Date-July 18, 1990. 1 of 4 interviews where Nugent brags about how he dodged the draft:"30 days before his draft physical, he stopped all forms of hygiene. The last 10 days, he ingested only Vienna sausages & Pepsi; a week before his physical, he stopped using bathrooms altogether, living inside pants caked with his own excrement, stained with urine. That won Nugent a deferment. "I never heard from them again."
