I believe you'll find Steve Marlowe, wood carver and long time Cannabis activist from the
mountains of North Carolina, and our vlog following his encounter with the justice system (defending himself in a state without provisions for medical necessity in marijunana cases) to be compelling and entertaining viewing.
His openness and common sense won over juries in the 1990's. Steve has vowed not to accept fines or probation - he wants a jury to recognize that he committed no crime by growing natural, God-given medicine for patients that needed it.
His willingness to face prison rather than succumb to a bad law reminds me of Henry David Thoreau's quote from behind bars, "Why are you out there?"
