It is estimated that there are 100,000 refugees in Egypt, 54,000 in Iran, 40,000 in Lebanon and 10,000 in Turkey. Iraq's population is estimated to be 26 million. Only a tiny number have been allowed to enter the UK and the US. The US spends $8 billion PER MONTH on military operations in Iraq and only $20 million on refugees in Iraq and the region." |
